Deb’s Y go By is no more…The new owners are Nancy and Zach Ransom from Buffalo, Minnesota…it will be called Ransom’s Place and opening on Friday, July 20th.. So, come to Ransom’s Place on the 20th and help the Ransom’s start out on the right foot.
A big Thank You to Derek Bay, Doug McDougall and Tom Biasi on the expert way they maintained our fireworks display..The guys did an excellent job as the display was the best we have ever had…
Butch and Sheri Ruhe, Pat Dudley’s brother and sister-in-law from Lake Wales, Florida spent a week at Pat’s house. On Thursday they had a mini reunion.. Pat’s niece Amanda and her husband Ryan Wirner from Chetek, Wi, Pat’s Pat’s daughter Kris and her husband Rick Guthman from Clam Lake and her daughter Kim from Eau Claire took part in the family events. Their outings took place in Hayward, WI at Frankie’s Pizza, a trip to Lake Superior, Ashland, WI, Cayuga to see the bears, Pla-mor on Lake Namakagon for a awesome meal. They also took in the Clam Lake Fireworks which they said were spectacular. Also visited with many people there and were blessed to visit with Ford Anderson and his wife. While at home they played many games including Social Security, Uno and Yahtzee. Also, on the 4th of July they attended the parade in Cable which was rained out after the first few floats. But, an awesome time was had by all, Many stories were and many laughs were shared by all.(The fudge from Tremblay’s was Delicious). (Thank You).

I talked to Tonya, Manager of the Elkhorn and the new hours are..Friday and Saturday, the kitchen will be open from Noon to 10pm..on Sunday the kitchen will be open from Noon to 10pm..Thank you Tonya for the info..
Lea Justice is asking for your help as she would like you to donate your slightly worn shoes to the Northwoods Humane Society..Lea is willing to pick up your shoes and transport them to Hayward for you (her # is 715-794-2438) or you can drop off your shoes at the humane society on State Hwy 77..They are taking shoes, boots..
