Hello Readers,
It’s Sunday evening about 6pm and snowing. We are expected to get 1-3 inches tonight, I think the snow gods heard the Birkie folks prayers. As the race is in 2 weeks I’m sure they are very happy with all this new snow.. I’ve noticed that some plows have pushed the snow very high in some spots around the driveways it makes it almost impossible to see to pull out on the road. So, be very careful!!
By the time you will get your mail on Wednesday you’ll be digging out from even more snow..remember the first day of Spring is March 21st.
This Thursday the Clam Lake Community Club will hold it’s monthly potluck. I know that’s Valentine’s Day so, dress in your best valentine’s fare, bake up a tasty treat and come join your friends and neighbors for a night of good conversation, great food and killer bingo!!
Well, it seems that “Big Beef Bingo” is this Sunday, February 17th at the VFW in Glidden..the Clam Lake Troupe will be there with “bells on” so there will lot’s of laughter coming from our table as we all get confused very easy..We hope to see you there and we hope to bring home the “BEEF”..
It seems like February is flying by so fast, this week marks the mid-month which seems impossible..is it as we get older time seems to fly by even faster and faster and before you know it the month will be gone. I wish to remain youthful at heart so, to me time is always on my side!
