Boy what a week we’ve had weather-wise. In the high thirties and low forties and no chance of snow until later this month! Looks like we might have a brown Christmas…
Speaking the Clam Lake Community Club will be holding it’s Christmas Potluck Dinner this Thursday, December 10 at 5pm. There will be a very short meeting and then Potluck. If you would like to participate there will be a gift exchange with a $15 dollar limit. Then maybe a little holiday bingo! We all hope you will attend….
I didn’t get many deer reports this year except from the Spider Lake Deer Camp. They guys reported not seeing any deer! But, one member of of the crew got a bird’s eye view of seven wolves from his tree stand…good thing it wasn’t a ground stand! All in All the guys had a fantastic time up in our little mecca….
Cher and I attended the Madrigal Dinner at the Park Falls Elementary School on Saturday. If you haven’t done so make it a must to kick off the season. The Kids put on a fantastic show and food is great! I can’t say enough good things about the production it’s a must….
Congrats go out to Justin and Alana Gerhardt on the birth of their son Hudson. Alana is the daughter of Ron and Colea Vecchie. Ron and Colea are so happy to be grandparents and we are sure that little Hudson will be in Clam Lake soon!

Get well wishes go out to Ralph Cornell after his recent surgery. We all wish you a very speedy recovery!
Our thoughts and prayers go out to the family of Kenny Stanten. Kenny passed away earlier this month. He was a staple in Clam Lake for many years and he will be missed….

The Elk Country Atv Club’s Annual Ice Fishing Contest is a little over 1 month away, it will be held on January 16, 2016. Pray for ice!
