Happy Winter? That’s what it’s going to feel like this week with temperatures well below normal. I looked back to last year and on November 5th it was 61 degrees.. It seems that we are in the winter mode and don’t seem to be leaving..So, I guess we should make the best of it and enjoy…
This Thursday the Clam Lake Community Club will hold it’s monthly Potluck Dinner/Meeting at 5pm..So, bake up a tasty dinner fare or a delicious dessert and come join your friends and neighbors for an evening of good food and better conversation…
On Saturday, November 11th the Clam Lake Forest Riders Snowmobile Club will hold a Charity Meat Raffle from 3-5pm at Deb’s Y-Go-By in Downtown Clam Lake on Hwy 77..All proceeds from the raffle go to a local charity.. The meat comes from the Sixth Street Market in Ashland..There will be 50 cents off all drink specials during the raffle.. So, if you freezer is looking a little empty.. or your waiting for that deer he promised he get this year come to Deb’s for a good time and a chance to win some meat to fill your freezer…
With this Saturday being Veteran’s Day It’s only right to Honor and Thank all those Veterans who fought for the freedoms we enjoy today… So, Please, Take The Time To Honor A Vet And Tell Them Thanks For Their Service…
